Activities

Our group is interested in gene regulation at the transcriptional and post-transcriptional level, and inparticular its evolution and variation. Our current projects include:

•  Improving the prediction of gene expression from genetic variants for transcriptome-wide association studies, using profiles of transcription factor affinities of regulatory sequences
• Investigating the phenomenon of alternative polyadenylation from the evolutionary point of view
• Investigating the relevance of alternative polyadenylation to complex diseases through the implementation of polyadenylation-wide association studies
• Studying coexpression networks from the point of view of evolution and ontogenesis from RNA-sequencing data across mammalian species and developmental stages
