Early Stage Researcher - Deciphering PI3K biology in health and disease (available in the laboratory of Prof. E. Hirsch)

Early Stage Researcher (1 position) available in the laboratory of Prof. Emilio Hirsch as part of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network “Deciphering PI3K biology in health and disease (Phd)”.  The consortium includes ten project partners from the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Spain, and will train fifteen Early Stage Researchers in signaling in vitro and in vivo approaches to the analysis of physiological processes to pathological situations.  The recruited researchers will benefit from interactions with other members of the consortium through joint research training, scientific collaborations and participation in project meetings.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with evidence of high academic achievements. Lab experience in such areas as mouse work, molecular biology, confocal microscopy, molecular biology, developmental biology would be advantageous.

Eligibility: Applicants shall at the time of recruitment be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers and have not been awarded a doctoral degree. In addition, applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of their host organization for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the recruitment date. 

Fixed term: 36 months.

Salary scale: Highly competitive salary according to Marie Sklodowska-Curie call (H2020-MSCA-ITN-2015).
